I'm not reviewing my own contribution to this book (honestly!) but I should add that I really enjoyed the rest of the stories in this collection. There's a nice balance of stories (in tone and in length) and is a perfect volume for dipping into.

If you enjoy short stories, then you'll love this collection. Even if you're not a fan, I urge you you to read this, you won't be disappointed. This collection takes us from the idyllic Butterfly Ballet through a child's priorities in Remembering Trivia, and dark tales in Stump Road and Sick Note. There's the fun title of Sex on the Beach, about a crab and his attempts to reach his unrequited love. Read it in one sitting, as I did, or dip into it over a cup of coffee, and enjoy.
